When you have graduated from a massage training course, or trained in any new therapy, you can often be left to your own devices and it’s a big, confusing competitive world out there! I am PASSIONATE about mentoring new practitioners, or practitioners who want to develop their massage or their therapy career, and need some support and guidance to help them along the way.

I offer a wide variety of mentoring sessions for practitioners, including:

- Exam preparation including pre-assessment, treatment, anatomy, physiology, pathology
- Fine tuning of technique and body awareness/mechanics
- Building confidence in technique and approach to newly qualified practitioners
- Answering those questions you keep thinking of, e.g. what am I actually achieving with this technique?
- Assessment and treatment techniques for common conditions
- Introductions to different ways of assessing and treating patients, such as MFT, NKT

Applicable to all therapies:

- Career development, e.g. helping to define your target market and refine your unique selling point
- Safeguarding training - knowing when it is safe to treat, and when it absolutely is not
- Clinical discussions to help you get to grips with complex patients that you don’t know where to start with
- Coaching - helping you get more business and to make a decent living from the work you do

Mentoring can be in person (preferably) at any of my clinics, or online via video conferencing. Mentoring appointments will generally last one hour, where we concentrate on the areas you need assistance - we define and support your agenda! Usual rates apply, see the Prices page for more details. In-person mentoring options may be booked online, but for any FaceTime or Skype appointments, or if you have any queries pre-booking, please email in the first instance.

Mentoring options:
- 60 mins 1-2-1 in oerson or via Skype/FaceTime
- 90 mins including pre-assessment exam preparation
- 30 min Skype/FaceTime catchup
- 15 min patient discussions (Skype/FaceTime only)
