The Full Body MOT

The Full Body MOT is essentially a longer combination of the 60 minute initial consultation followed by 30 minutes of additional treatment - this option is ideal for those with longer-term, complex health issues that may require more treatment than the traditional Osteopathic model allows.

In my Full Body MOT sessions, this equates a full body check-up, so as well as examining any problem areas that you may have, I can tell you what you didn’t know about yourself, such as maybe your hip flexors are not firing, which can cause lower back/hip pain and other muscles to take over hip movement, maybe you have tight quads/hamstrings and they need re-setting, your pecs need releasing to improve shoulder function and release thoracic extension, your head/neck posture is forward and placing excess strain on your spine and needs to come back, and so on, your un-resolving neck pain is caused by your neck flexors taking over due to a lack of core stability - and so on.

The 90 minute Full Body MOT includes:

  • Testing of quality/range of motion of joints, and muscle strength testing
  • Orthopaedic (special) tests of problem areas as required
  • Testing of core and hip function and correction of any imbalances detected
  • Integrated Myofascial Release therapy for fascial release
  • Muscle Activation techniques to reset dysfunction musclular/movement firing patterns (where the pain is!).
  • Advanced massage techniques, such as Soft Tissue Release and Muscle Energy Techniques
  • Joint mobilisations and articulations, manipulation if required
